Many congratulationsto the six talented students from Assam down town University, Guwahati, for being selected as one of the top six teams in the country to compete in the AICTE MIC-Student Innovation Category at the Smart India Hackathon 2024 Grand Finale! The event will take place at KLE Technological University - Hubballi (India), Karnataka, from 11th to 15th December 2024

Their innovative project aims to develop a #HeartAttackAlertSystem, combining pulse-monitoring hardware and real-time data analysis. The team is also creating an IoT-based solution capable of distinguishing heart attacks from normal cardiac activity. The final product will integrate software and hardware to detect heart attacks and immediately send an SOS text message with the user’s location to their emergency contact.
