Assam down town University organized the much-anticipated Science Day Model Competition as part of the National Science Day, providing a dynamic platform for students from various disciplines to exhibit their innovative and scientific acumen.
The competition witnessed the participation of numerous students who presented a total of 32 highly innovative and thought-provoking models. These models showcased groundbreaking ideas across a wide spectrum, including sustainable energy solutions, smart automation, environmental conservation, and cutting-edge technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT). Several projects highlighted the potential of smart systems in areas such as home automation, environmental monitoring, and healthcare, demonstrating how technology can be leveraged to improve efficiency and sustainability in these critical sectors.
The competition was judged by Dr. Arnob Bormudoi, Dr. Bhabajyoti Saikia Saika, and Dr. Manoj Kumar Sarma, AdtU who also graced the occasion as an esteemed judge.
Expressing their admiration for the participants, the judges commended the students for their creativity, enthusiasm, and technical proficiency. They also appreciated the forward-thinking ideas presented, acknowledging the students’ ability to tackle contemporary global challenges through their innovative solutions.
