




Assam down town University had the privilege of hosting an enriching Indian Classical Music workshop as part of Virasat Anubhav 2026, organized by the SPIC MACAY AdtU Chapter. The session was conducted by renowned classical vocalist Smt. Moumita Mitra, who guided students through the essence and discipline of Indian classical music. Through interactive demonstrations, she introduced participants to the nuances of ragas, voice modulation, and the philosophy behind this timeless art form. The workshop offered students a rare opportunity to closely engage with a master artist, deepening their appreciation for the rich heritage of Indian classical music and inspiring many to explore the art further.



Assam down town University witnessed a soulful culmination of Day 2 of Virasat Anubhav 2026 by the SPIC MACAY AdtU Chapter, as the evening was graced by a captivating Indian Classical Music recital by Smt. She was beautifully accompanied by Pranay Chatterjee on tabla and Bikash Bhowal on harmonium, whose rhythmic and musical support perfectly complemented the recital.
