





Assam down town University successfully organized a special dance workshop through its dance clubs, Tribhanga and Zephyr, in association with the Dancing Musk Institute.
The workshop was conducted by renowned dancer Akash Thapa, finalist of Super Dancer Chapter 2 and choreographer associated with India’s Best Dancer. The event witnessed an overwhelming response with around 150 participants from across Assam, along with students of the university, actively taking part in the session.
During the workshop, Akash Thapa conducted interactive training sessions focusing on body control, musicality, expression, and stage presence. His unique teaching style blended technical precision with creative exploration, allowing participants to learn new movements while developing their individual style and confidence.
The event was smoothly coordinated by the student volunteers and faculty members of AdtU Dance Clubs, Tribhanga and Zephyr, whose dedicated efforts ensured active participation throughout the session. The workshop further strengthened Assam down town University’s commitment to promoting performing arts and creating meaningful learning platforms for students and the wider community.
