Assam down town University was honoured to welcome Prof. Rajendra Prasad Das, Vice Chancellor, Krishna Kanta Handiqui State Open University, Guwahati, as the distinguished speaker for the 23rd lecture of the Chancellor’s Lecture Series. 

The event commenced with a warm welcome address by Prof. (Dr.) Dharmeswar Das, Chairman and Executive Director of Research, followed by a brief narration of Prof. Das’s professional journey by Dr. Dhruba Sharma, Assistant Director, Directorate of Research. Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof. N. C. Talukdar felicitated the esteemed guest with a fulam gamusha and a memento as a token of respect and appreciation.

Prof. Das delivered a thought-provoking lecture on "Work-Life Balance," addressing the evolving nature of modern lifestyles and their influence on personal and professional well-being. He emphasized the need to strike a harmonious balance to lead a fulfilling and healthy life. The session concluded with insightful remarks by Prof. Talukdar, who commended the relevance of the topic and expressed gratitude for the enriching session.
