Pop-up Kitchen 5th Edition Showcases Culinary Talent and Entrepreneurial Skills

The 5th Edition of Pop-up Kitchen was successfully organized by the Discipline of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management at Assam down town University. 

Held every Friday on the university premises, this initiative provides students with hands-on entrepreneurial exposure, allowing them to test menu ideas, gauge community interest, and build confidence in the hospitality industry.

For this edition, students from the 6th and 2nd Semester of BHMCT and the 2nd Semester of DHM showcased their culinary talents by preparing a delightful array of dishes, including Fried Rice, Chilli Chicken, Manchurian, Noodles, and Chaas. 

The inspiration and guidance for this initiative came from Dr.Bhola Chourasia, Dr. Santosh Kumar Upadhyay, Mr. Mridu Pawan Rabha, Mr. Ritwick Goswami, Mr. Jyotirmoy Choudhury, Mr. Mriganka Oza, Mr. santanu sarma, Ms. Meenakshi Das, and Mrs. Arjina Begum. Their mentorship played a key role in shaping the event into a valuable learning experience.

As the Pop-up Kitchen continues to thrive, it stands as a proof to the university’s focus on experiential learning and industry-driven education, preparing students for promising careers in the hospitality sector.
