Assam down town university’s Directorate of Career Advancement successfully organized an engaging session under the “Placed & Proud Series” titled “From Campus to PwC AC India: Stories That Inspire” for the students of the Faculty of Commerce and Management.

The session began with a warm welcome by Ms. Varsha Patwari, Assistant General Manager, Directorate of Career Advancement, followed by insightful words from Dr. Seema Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management. Dr. Rimjhim Baruah, Director (i/c), Directorate of Career Advancement, further elevated the session with her thought-provoking perspective on perseverance and career readiness, while also felicitating the achievers.

The highlight of the event was the inspiring journeys of Jupitara Thakuria and Bishakh Sen (MBA, Batch 2024–26), who shared their real-life experiences, challenges, and strategies that led them to PwC AC India. Their honest and relatable stories gave students a clear glimpse into the transition from campus to corporate life, while also reflecting the power of guidance, consistency, and self-belief.

More than just a session, it became a moment of motivation encouraging students to embrace their placement journey with confidence, resilience, and a mindset of continuous growth.
