The event brought together distinguished academicians, policymakers, industry leaders, and budding researchers from across the region to celebrate innovation and excellence in pharmaceutical sciences.

An insightful Academia–Industry Panel Discussion was held during Pharma Anveshan 2026 – North East Zone, focusing on emerging trends, collaborations, and the future of pharmaceutical education, research, and industry engagement.

The panel featured distinguished experts including Dr. Nilimanka Das, Central Council Member, Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi; Vijay Kumar, Director, Signova Healthcare Pvt. Ltd., Guwahati; Sudhir Chandra Saha, General Secretary, All Assam Pharmacists’ Service Association and Member of the Central Council, Pharmacy Council of India; and Bhargab Jyoti Sahariah, Principal, NETES Institute of Pharmaceutical Science.

The session was moderated by Dr. Damiki Laloo, Principal, Girijananda Chowdhury Institute of Pharmaceutical Science (GIPS), Guwahati, who guided a meaningful discussion on strengthening the bridge between academia and the pharmaceutical industry.
