Assam down town University (AdtU) proudly participated in the North East NSS Festival 2025 held at HimalayanUniversity, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh organized by the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports.

The festival brought together more than 320 NSS volunteers from all eight North Eastern states for cultural, academic, and community-driven activities. AdtU’s NSS team, led by Programme Coordinator Dr. Debasis Bora, actively took part in cultural performances showcasing Assam’s traditions, academic competitions such as quizzes, extempore speeches, and presentations, as well as community service initiatives including cleaning drives and plantation activities. 

The event fostered inter-state friendship, cultural exchange and the true spirit of the National Service Scheme, highlighting the unity, leadership and service mindset of today’s youth.
