The NSS contingent of Assam down town University (AdtU) proudly represented the institution at the prestigious WorldYouthParliament2026, at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore organized by the Government of Karnataka. 

The team, comprising Lipika Deka, CHIROJYOTI PAMEGAM, ABHISHESH SAIKIA, Sonia Prasad, Ms. Meghna, and Divyanshu Das, participated under the guidance of NSS Programme Officers Dr. Dr. Moitrayee Devi (Ph.D) and Dr. Dr Shalaka Baidya (PT). 

During the event, the NSS youth leader actively engaged in parliamentary sessions, demonstrating strong leadership and critical thinking skills. The NSS Programme Officers also had the honor of felicitating Mr. U. T. Khader, Hon’ble Speaker of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, along with other dignitaries, with the traditional Gamusa. 

The volunteers further showcased their talents through enthusiastic participation in cultural activities. Adding to the pride of the institution, Youth Leader Divyanshu Das was awarded the “Best Delegate” in the Question and Answer session round for his outstanding performance, marking a significant achievement for AdtU on a national platform.
