Assam down town University proudly marked a significant milestone in hospitality education with the official inauguration of its newly developed 5-Star Standard Training Rooms under the Discipline of Hospitality and Tourism Management, Faculty of Commerce and Management.

The state-of-the-art training rooms were formally unveiled through a ribbon-cutting ceremony in the esteemed presence of Prof. (Dr.) N.C. Talukdar, Vice Chancellor, Prof Pranveer Singh PhD-IITK, Pro- Vice Chancellor and Dr. Seema Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management, along with faculty members, students, and distinguished guests.

Developed to replicate contemporary luxury hospitality standards, these rooms will serve as a practical learning environment where students can gain hands-on experience in guest service operations, room management, housekeeping standards, and hospitality excellence. 

The initiative reflects the University's commitment to bridging the gap between classroom learning and industry expectations by providing immersive, industry-oriented training opportunities.
