As part of the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav celebrations, the NCC cadets of Assam down town University actively participated in the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign. 

The initiative was aimed at instilling a sense of patriotism and pride among the community while encouraging every citizen to hoist the national flag at their homes.

On this occasion, the cadets undertook a mission to distribute national flags in the areas surrounding the university and in nearby schools. Through this outreach activity, they not only promoted awareness about the significance of the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign but also motivated students and local residents to participate wholeheartedly in the nationwide celebration.

The task was carried out successfully under the guidance and initiative of Dr. Santa Mandal and Lt. (Dr.) Sangita Boro, who emphasized the importance of the campaign in strengthening the bond of unity, integrity, and respect for the nation’s heritage. The enthusiasm of the NCC cadets, coupled with the positive response from the community and school children, made the programme highly impactful.
