Assam down town University hosted the Inter-University Poster Competition 2026, organised by the Beethika Art Club, as part of the celebrations marking India’s 80th Independence Day.

Held under the theme “My Dream India”, the hand-drawn poster competition brought together 18 students from diverse academic disciplines, including Physiotherapy, Engineering, Management, Design, Biotechnology and Medical Laboratory Technology.

Through vibrant and meaningful artworks, students expressed their ideas, aspirations and vision for a progressive, inclusive and developed India, turning creativity into a reflection of patriotism and social awareness.

With an engaging cross-disciplinary participation and prizes of Rs. 3,000, Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 1,000 for the top three positions, the event provided a platform for students to celebrate Independence Day through art, imagination and their dreams for the nation.
