Assam down town University’s M.Sc. Nursing students visited Sacred Heart Palliative Care Centre, Jorabat, Guwahati as part of their academic requirements.

The visit provided the students with an opportunity to observe holistic end-of-life care and understand the approaches used to support patients with compassion and dignity. As part of the interaction, students conducted a health talk and participated in activities including singing and dancing, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere for the residents.

The students also offered light refreshments and presented a token of appreciation to the Sisters in charge of the centre as a gesture of gratitude for their guidance and for providing the students with this valuable learning experience.

The visit was a meaningful blend of academic learning, human connection and compassionate care.
