M.Sc. Food, Nutrition and Dietetics Students Develop Therapeutic Recipes for Liver Disease and Cancer Care

Date- 05th Oct 2026

Practical learning of M.Sc 3rd-semester students, Programme of Food Nutrition and Dietetics (Faculty of Science), AdtU recently developed therapeutic recipes specifically designed for individuals managing liver diseases and cancer.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Jasmin Islam, our future dietitians translated the core principles of therapeutic nutrition into healthy, balanced, and palatable meals. Each recipe was carefully crafted, keeping in mind specific dietary modifications for energy, protein, fat, and fibre based on patient tolerance and complex health requirements.

This hands-on session provided our students with valuable experience in therapeutic meal planning, recipe modification, and presentation - proving once again the vital role clinical nutrition plays in disease management and patient recovery!
