Creating a healthy campus environment begins with awareness, respect and a shared sense of responsibility.

The Faculty of Commerce and Management, Assam down town University, organised a session on “Gender Equity, Respect & Campus Well-Being” on 13 August 2026, led by Ms. Pubali Borthakur, Head, People & Delivery (Arena), Infosys Ltd., Guwahati Centre.

The session encouraged students to reflect on gender equity, inclusivity, respectful behaviour and the role each individual plays in creating a safe and supportive campus community.

An insightful and engaging interaction that reinforced the importance of equality, empathy and mutual respect in everyday campus life.
