Through the shaking method, participants explored the preparation of the tropical Mai Tai, the classic Margarita, Cognac-based Sidecar, vodka-based Cosmopolitan, Bourbon Whiskey Sour and the refreshing Gin Gimlet. The session also demonstrated the building technique through the preparation of Long Island Iced Tea, showcasing the process of combining different spirits directly over ice.
Beyond the preparation of these classic beverages, participants gained insights into the importance of precise measurements, flavour combinations, appropriate glassware and garnishing techniques in professional beverage service.
The workshop served as an enriching learning experience, combining practical exposure with industry-oriented skills and encouraging students to explore the evolving dimensions of hospitality and beverage service.
