The campus of Assam down town University lit up with energy as LUMOS 2024, the university’s annual management fest, started with a grand inauguration ceremony. The event began at the Amphitheatre, where the lighting of diyas symbolized the start of a dynamic and enriching series of events. Dignitaries and distinguished guests, including Pro Vice Chancellor Prof Pranveer Singh PhD (IITK) FIE FSED Disruptive Education and Learning Innovator Singh, Controller of Examinations Dr. Joydeep Goswami, Professor Elangbam Nixon Singh from Mizoram University, Dr. Seema Sharma, Dean of Faculty of Commerce and Management, Dr. Dharmeswar Das, Chairman of Research, and Dr. Mahendra Kumar Modi, Executive Dean, graced the occasion with their presence and delivered inspiring opening remarks.

Following the felicitation of these esteemed guests, students presented classical singing and dance performances, as well as a spirited Bihu dance, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the region. The inaugural ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Sonu Kumar, an MBA student in the third semester and a member of the LUMOS 2024 organizing committee, marking the beginning of what promises to be an exciting and competitive fest.
