Lt. (Dr.) Sangita Boro, Assistant Professor of Microbiology, successfully attended and completed the 75-day Pre-Commission Course (PRCN-111) at the #NCC Officers Training Academy (OTA), Gwalior, from October 9, 2024, to December 22, 2024, securing an A grade. This course equips Assistant NCC Officers (ANOs) with the skills and knowledge to train cadets in their respective institutions.

Upon completing the course, she was conferred the rank of Lieutenant. During her training, Lt. (Dr.) Sangita Boro actively participated in various individual and group competitions. Her team achieved remarkable success, winning events such as Exercise Yuva Shakti, Exercise Rahat, the Throwball Competition, the National Integration Awareness Program, the Firing Competition, and the prestigious Best Team Award.

On an individual level, she demonstrated exceptional prowess, earning a silver medal in the Badminton Tournament and receiving a Special Appreciation Award from the Commandant for her outstanding performance in the Table Drill.
