Assam down town University, through the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, in collaboration with Outreach and Extension Activities, organised a Legal Literacy and Constitutional Rights Awareness Program at Swahid Kushal Konwar High School.

The program aimed to sensitise students about basic legal rights, constitutional values, fundamental rights and duties, equality, justice, and the importance of responsible citizenship. The session encouraged students to develop a better understanding of their constitutional rights and responsibilities and their relevance in everyday life.

The program was conducted in an interactive manner, providing students with an opportunity to raise questions and discuss various legal and constitutional matters. A total of 60 students benefited from the initiative.

The program contributed to strengthening legal awareness and constitutional literacy among school students, empowering them with essential knowledge to understand their rights, responsibilities, and role as informed and responsible citizens.
