International Conference on Science, Technology, Innovation and Policy for Global Health and Sustainability witnessed a critical Keynote Address under the Industry-Academia Meet was delivered by Prof. S. S. Easwaran, Associate Vice President-Academics, Biocon Academy, Bangalore, on the topic: “Industry–Academia Collaboration: Building Congruence Between Science, Technology, Innovation, and Policy for a Strong Global Health System.” The session, expertly prepared by Dr. Deep Prakash Parasar, emphasized the vital role of cross-sectoral partnerships in strengthening global health infrastructure by accelerating innovation and bridging the research–implementation gap. Key highlights stressed the need for collaborative ecosystems, the importance of harmonized policy frameworks to streamline regulatory processes and intellectual property, and the necessity of the academia-industry interface for capacity building and nurturing a skilled, multidisciplinary workforce, ultimately ensuring that innovations are translated into accessible and impactful healthcare solutions for all.
