Assam down town University, through its Outreach and Extension Committee in collaboration with the Faculty of Nursing, observed the International Day of Older Persons on the theme, “The Age of Longevity: Rethinking Systems for Longer Lives.” 

The program focused on promoting healthy and dignified ageing through health education sessions on personal hygiene, psychosocial stress management, and fall prevention, supported by AV aids and engaging role plays. 

The event also included blood pressure assessments and recreational activities, creating an informative and interactive experience while highlighting the importance of holistic well-being and care for older persons.
