Assam down town University, through its Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), successfully organized a POSH Awareness Program with the objective of promoting awareness, sensitivity, and understanding regarding workplace dignity and safety.

The program featured two informative sessions tailored for different groups within the university community. The first session, conducted for faculty members, was led by Ms. Pubali Borthakur. The second session, organized for administrative and support staff, conducted by Dr. Prateeti Barman (she/her).

The sessions focused on creating awareness about the POSH Act, highlighting the roles and responsibilities of the ICC, and encouraging the development of a safe, respectful, and inclusive workplace environment for all.
