Assam down town University enters a promising new chapter of global academic collaboration with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Purbanchal University, Nepal, marking a meaningful step toward strengthening Himalayan ties in higher education. 

Formalised at the AdtU campus, this strategic partnership is rooted in shared academic vision and aims to foster student exchange programs, collaborative research initiatives, and faculty development, enriching learning beyond geographical boundaries. 

We were honoured to host the distinguished leadership of Purbanchal University, including Prof. Dr. Biju K. Thapalia, PhD, Vice Chancellor; Prof. Dr. Kalyani Mishra Tripathi, Registrar; and Dr. Uttam Kumar Regmi, Executive Director. This collaboration reinforces AdtU’s commitment to international exposure, knowledge exchange, and the creation of a globally connected, future-ready learning ecosystem, building bridges that transcend borders and shape the next era of academic excellence.
