Innovative Product Display Showcases Cutting Edge Student Research and Technological Prototypes at ECCLESIA 3.0

Date- 29th Nov 2025

As a key highlight of ECCLESIA 3.0, Assam down town University organized the Innovative Product Display, creating a robust and research-focused platform for students to present scientifically grounded and technologically advanced innovations under the Faculty of Engineering.

The event featured 50 research posters and 30 fully developed products, each demonstrating strong theoretical foundations, precise methodologies, and practical, application-oriented solutions. Students from the Food and Nutrition domain showcased an impressive range of functional foods, including bioactive-rich Lemon Zest Candy, high-protein Moong Dal Crackers, prebiotic-formulated Nutri-Fibre, micronutrient-fortified Nutri Sauce, and antioxidant-dense Moringa Bites, alongside several other innovations focused on nutrient enhancement, shelf-life stability, and consumer acceptability. On the technological front, engineering students presented cutting-edge prototypes such as an AI-driven Intelligent Research Engine for predictive health insights, an IoT-enabled environmental monitoring device with multi-parameter sensing, and an automated E-Cleaner system featuring proximity sensors and programmed navigation algorithms, in addition to AI synchronisation tools, climate prediction models, and soil erosion mitigation systems rooted in geotechnical engineering. Civil and environmental engineering students further contributed sustainable betel-nut fibre composite materials demonstrating enhanced mechanical strength, biodegradability, and low-carbon applicability. Evaluated by distinguished industry expert Mr. Sanjeev Sharma, Founder of Webx and a leading authority in AI, SaaS, Cloud Systems, and E-Governance, the event received detailed scientific critique and industry-aligned insights on scalability and real-world implementation.

With strong institutional support and enthusiastic participation from students, mentors, and faculty, this flagship ECCLESIA 3.0 event significantly strengthened the university’s culture of research excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and innovation-driven learning.
