Assam down town University organised an industry-oriented guest lecture for the students of the MBA in Healthcare Management programme, offering valuable insights into the evolving healthcare sector, emerging employment trends, and career opportunities, coordinated by Dr.Dimpy Pathak Das, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Commerce and Management.

The session was conducted by Mr. Thaomunglung Chukhrungfa, Chief Executive Officer, Apollo Excelcare Hospital, Guwahati, who shared his industry experience and perspectives on the strategic requirements of the healthcare sector. He highlighted the changing dynamics of healthcare, emerging career pathways, and the professional competencies and skills required to build successful careers in healthcare management.

As part of the program, the guest speaker was felicitated by Dr. Seema Sharma, Dean, Faculty of Commerce and Management (FCM). The session featured an engaging interaction with students, who actively participated in discussions and raised questions on healthcare management, industry expectations, career opportunities, and professional development. 

The interaction enabled students to connect classroom learning with practical insights from the healthcare industry.
