The inaugural ceremony of the International Conference on Science, Technology, Innovation and Policy for Global Health and Sustainability (ICSTIP-2025) was held at Assam down town University (AdtU), organized by the Faculty of Science,

The event, which began with the traditional Lamp Lighting and Saraswati Vandana. Dr. Manash Sarma Sarma, President of ICSTIP-2025 highlighted interdisciplinary collaboration toward global development goals in his Welcome Address. AdtU's commitment to research was reaffirmed by Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. N.C. Talukdar.

A major highlight was the Keynote Address by Dr. Suraksha S. Diwan (Scientist-F, DBT, Govt. of India) on “Harnessing Biotechnology for Sustainable Development in the North Eastern Region — India’s Emerging Growth Engine,” emphasizing its transformative potential for economic growth and environmental balance.

The Souvenir and Abstract Book were also formally released. The session was graced by Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Kamal Malla Bujarbaruah, Former VC of AAU, and featured international perspectives from Mr. Marek Zborowski (Poland) and Prof. Vera Alexandra Ferro Lebres (Portugal).

The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Dr. Dr. Partha Pratim Kalita Kalita, Convenor of ICSTIP-2025, marking the successful commencement of a landmark event dedicated to innovation and sustainable growth!
