Assam down town University Clinches Victory at AdtU Inter College/University Teachers’ Cricket Tournament 2026.

Assam down town University successfully hosted the AdtU Inter College/University Teachers’ Cricket Tournament 2026. The tournament witnessed enthusiastic participation from seven colleges and universities, creating an atmosphere of healthy competition and remarkable sportsmanship.

The grand finale saw a thrilling face-off between the University of Science and Technology Meghalaya (USTM) and Assam down town University. Demonstrating exceptional teamwork and determination, Assam down town University emerged as the Champion under the captaincy of Mriganka Jyoti Deka, Assistant Professor & Sports In Charge AdtU. The University of Science and Technology Meghalaya, led by Mr. Mustafa Ahmed, secured the Runner-Up position after a commendable performance.

The tournament also recognized outstanding individual performances. Dr. Deep Sonowal (PT) from Assam down town University was awarded the Man of the Match, while Mr. Ganesh Das from Assam down town University earned the title of Man of the Tournament for his consistent excellence throughout the competition.
