Assam down town University successfully organized a Guest Lecture on “Email & Professional Communication”, hosted by the Directorate of Career Advancement.

The session was delivered by Dr. Sushanta Rajkhowa, Assistant Professor, Centre-EASES, AdtU, who shared valuable insights into the role of effective communication in academic and professional environments.
From writing impactful emails and choosing the right tone to maintaining workplace etiquette and communicating with clarity, students explored the practical essentials of professional communication. The session also covered effective subject lines, professional greetings and closings, concise messaging, proofreading, and appropriate workplace responses.

With engaging discussions, practical examples, and insightful questions from students, the session highlighted how strong communication skills can build professional credibility, enhance employability, and support long-term career growth.
