His Excellency, the Honourable Governor of Assam, Shri Lakshman Prasad Acharya, was paid a courtesy visit by the Chancellor, Dr. N. N. Dutta, Vice Chancellor, Prof. (Dr.) N.C Talukdar, Resident Trustee, Gariasi Dutta and Registrar, Dr. Ashim Barman of Assam down town University.

During the meeting, the university delegation apprised His Excellency about the upcoming Convocation of Assam down town University and shared details regarding the preparations for the prestigious academic event. The delegation also highlighted the university's recent achievements and ongoing initiatives aimed at fostering academic excellence, research, innovation, and holistic student development.

The Honourable Governor interacted warmly with the delegation and appreciated the university's sustained efforts towards quality education and institutional growth.
