We are delighted to share that four students from the B.Tech in CSE (IBM), Faculty of Computer Technology, Assam down town University successfully participated in the IBM Immersion Program held at the IBM Head Office, Kolkata. 

The participating students were Nayandeep Goswami, Hirakjyoti Sarma,
Gunjan Malakar, Dikshyan Chakraborty. The students attended the program under the guidance of Parag J. Das, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Computer Technology, Assam down town University.

During the three-day immersion program, the students gained valuable industry exposure, interacted with IBM professionals, and explored emerging technologies such as Agentic AI and Generative AI through hands-on learning and collaborative activities.

We are especially proud to announce that Hirakjyoti Sarma and Gunjan Malakar secured first place in the final contest with their innovative Agentic AI and Generative AI project, showcasing exceptional technical skills, creativity, and teamwork. Also, Nayandeep Goswami, Hirakjyoti Sarma, and Dikshyan Chakraborty won the Day-2 Quiz Contest on Agentic AI and Gen AI.

Heartiest congratulations to all four students for representing Assam down town University with excellence, and special congratulations to Hirakjyoti Sarma and Gunjan Malakar on this remarkable achievement. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Parag J. Das for his guidance and mentorship.
