As part of the B.Sc. Forensic Science curriculum, 3rd Semester (Evening Shift) students at Assam down town University participated in an immersive Simulated Crime Scene Investigation Activity, bringing classroom learning into a practical setting.
Taking on the role of forensic investigators, students systematically examined the simulated scene and applied key principles of crime scene management, documentation, forensic photography, evidence collection and preservation, packaging, labelling, and chain of custody.
Conducted under the guidance of Dr. Debasis Bora, Associate Professor, and Dr. Sangram Sandhu, Assistant Professor, the activity offered students valuable experiential learning and a deeper understanding of how forensic science contributes to the investigation of crime.
