Assam down town University has always believed in equipping its students with the skills and exposure required to meet the demands of the corporate world. In alignment with this vision, the Faculty of Computer Technology organized JILINGONI on the theme “Education to Industry Ready”, under the leadership of Dr. Aniruddha Deka, Dean, FoCT.

The event, held in collaboration with the Government of Assam and HDFC Bank (Advantage Assam 2.0), focused on bridging the gap between academics and industry. It placed special emphasis on the Internship-to-Placement pathway with HDFC in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) and FinTech sectors, thereby preparing students for real-world opportunities.

With the active participation of over 150 students and faculty members, the program turned out to be a resounding success. JILINGONI inspired students, also strengthened their pathway towards becoming industry-ready professionals, reinforcing Assam down town University’s commitment to nurturing future-ready talent.
