Assam down town University successfully organized a highly engaging and interactive session on “Financial Discipline and Wealth Habits for Young Minds”, conducted by the Directorate of Career Advancement in collaboration with the HR Department. 

The session began with a warm welcome and felicitation of the speaker by Varsha Patwari, Assistant General Manager, Directorate of Career Advancement, and Sandeep Thapa, Assistant Manager – HR.

The insightful session was delivered by Mr. Abdul Aziz, HOD, Department of Commerce, Kharupetia College and a SEBI Smart Trainer. Drawing from his professional journey and extensive experience, he highlighted the diverse opportunities available in the banking and financial services sector and explained the structured preparation required to succeed in competitive examinations within the field.

Designed to motivate and guide young minds, the session provided students with practical strategies on goal setting, financial discipline, and cultivating the right mindset for long-term success. The interactive discussion encouraged students to actively participate, raising questions about exam patterns, preparation techniques, and potential career pathways. Many participants shared that the session gave them valuable clarity on how to approach banking competitive examinations and make informed career decisions.
