Assam down town University successfully organised Fashion Odyssey as part of Ecclesia 2026 under the Techno Management Fest 2026, coordinated by Ms Shivani Goswami, the event provided a creative platform for students to explore fashion as a medium of artistic expression, imagination and design innovation.

Centred around the theme “Nocturne: A World Unseen”, Fashion Odyssey invited participants to interpret the mysterious world of the night through imaginative costume designs, styling and runway presentations. A total of five groups participated, presenting their creative interpretations through distinctive silhouettes, colours, textures, accessories and visual storytelling. The competition was judged by Mr Prashant Ghosh, Fashion Designer and Choreographer, as the External Judge, and Ms Junumoni Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Assam down town University, as the Internal Judge.
 

Following the evaluation, Team 3.7 emerged as the winner, receiving a cash prize of Rs.15,000, while Nine After Night secured the First Runner-up position with Rs.10,000. House of Euphoria was declared the Second Runner-up, receiving Rs.5,000. In the special award categories, House of Euphoria won Best Theme, while Nine After Night received the Best Costume award. The competition featured a total prize pool of Rs.30,000, recognising the participants' originality, creative execution and presentation.

Overall, Fashion Odyssey successfully celebrated fashion as an avenue for imagination and creative storytelling. The event added to the vibrancy of Ecclesia 4.0 while providing students with an engaging platform to showcase their artistic abilities, experiment with innovative design concepts and gain practical experience in fashion presentation.
