Students and a faculty member from the Faculty of Engineering, Assam down town University, participated in a Technology Immersion Workshop organized in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council at the 5G Experience Center & 3D Printing Centre of Excellence (3DPCOE), Assam Electronics Development Corporation Ltd (Amtron), Bongora, Guwahati.

The visit offered hands-on exposure to Industry 4.0 technologies, including 5G applications, advanced additive manufacturing, AI-driven robotics, IoT, drones, VR/AR, and smart healthcare innovations. 

Students explored the 3D Metal Ecosystem under the PM-DevINE initiative and gained valuable insights into industrial 3D printing, prototyping, electronic manufacturing infrastructure, and startup incubation opportunities empowering them to align academic learning with emerging technological trends and innovation-driven practices.
