






The Faculty of Commerce and Management successfully organized a Panel Discussion on hashtag#UnionBudget2026 with the objective of helping students understand its key highlights, policy implications, and overall economic outlook. The event brought together eminent experts and academicians, creating an enriching learning platform for students and faculty members alike.
The organizing team formally introduced and felicitated the panelists with tokens of appreciation in recognition of their valuable time, expertise, and professional achievements, inspiring students to learn from their experiences.
The session featured insightful addresses by distinguished experts: Chabungbam Deepak Singh, Commissioner of Income Tax who shared his perspective on the broader economic vision, policy priorities, growth prospects, and fiscal discipline, CA (Dr.) Ayush Saraf, Chartered Accountant, who provided a detailed analysis of key tax proposals, compliance changes, and their implications for businesses and individuals; and CA Amit Patwari, Chartered Accountant, who highlighted sectoral impacts, opportunities and challenges for industries, startups, and investors, and guided future managers on aligning strategies with policy changes.
The interactive panel discussion covered themes such as taxation reforms, economic growth drivers, MSME support, infrastructure development, and employment outlook. Students actively engaged with thought-provoking questions, making the session lively, practical, and analytically enriching.
