









Assam down town University, through the Faculty of Commerce and Management, organized the Outdoor Experimental Training Program in association with TeamQuest Retreat, which commenced at the Amphitheatre with an introduction and felicitation of the esteemed TeamQuest members: Major Bhaskar Sharma (Co-founder), Anjan Gogoi (Co-founder; Police and Military Combat Trainer), Purna Deka (Co-founder; High Altitude Rescue Specialist), Tanushree Deka (Certified Mountaineering Instructor), Debakor Das (Chief Mountaineering Technical Instructor), Horesh Mahanta (Technical Instructor and Equipment Specialist), and Mukut Deka (Unarmed Combat Instructor).
Following the formal proceedings, an engaging ice-breaking session was conducted to familiarize participants with the team and the day’s activities. A total of 60 students from MBA, MHM, and MTTM programs actively participated on Day 1. The participants were then divided into groups and assigned to two activity zones: Location 1 — Block B, Dream Café, B3, hosting the Group Obstacle Race and Confidence-Building Task, and Location 2 — Football Field, featuring a Progressive Group Task and Group Planning Exercise. The training emphasized teamwork, leadership, and physical and mental resilience, providing students with a valuable experiential learning opportunity beyond classroom boundaries.
