Assam down town University is proud to share that Dr. Jasmin Islam, Assistant Professor, and Dr. Daisy Sharma, Associate Professor, along with two PhD scholars, Ms. Tridisha Borah and Mrs. Pameena Narzary from the Programme of Food Nutrition and Dietetics, Faculty of Science, had the enriching opportunity to participate in the prestigious 57th Annual Conference of the Nutrition Society of India (NSI), held at the ICMR–National Institute of Nutrition (ICMR-NIN), Hyderabad from 13–15 November 2025. 

They presented their research papers at the conference, making significant contributions to the field of community nutrition and food science and nutrition, while gaining valuable exposure to emerging research insights, innovative methodologies, and collaborative prospects that will further strengthen our academic and research initiatives.

The conference brought together leading experts, researchers, academicians, and practitioners from across the country to discuss advancements in nutrition science, public health nutrition, and sustainable food systems, offering deep insights into the future of nutrition research and interventions.
