Faculty Member Represents India at International Teaching Week 2026, Showcasing Academic Excellence and Global Collaboration

Representing India on the Global Academic Stage!

Assam down town University is proud to share that DR. ARPITA NATH BORUAH, Assistant Professor, Faculty of Computer Technology, represented India as the sole participant from the country at the International Teaching Week (2nd Edition, 20–24 April 2026) hosted by West University of Timisoara, Romania.

The programme brought together distinguished academic representatives from across the world, including Georgia, Uzbekistan, Malaysia, Morocco, China, Montenegro, Taiwan, South Africa, Mexico, Moldova, Vietnam, USA, Kazakhstan, Albania, Brazil, Ukraine, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Lithuania, Poland, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Bulgaria, among others.

During the program, Dr. Boruah actively participated in international academic exchange sessions and delivered an invited lecture titled “ From Data to Decisions: Designing Effective Machine Learning Models .” Her participation highlighted India’s growing engagement in global knowledge-sharing platforms and significantly enhanced Assam down town University’s international academic presence and visibility .

This prestigious participation also opened avenues for future institutional collaboration, joint research initiatives, and student & faculty mobility opportunities with partner universities worldwide.

Such global engagements reflect Assam down town University’s continued commitment to strengthening international outreach, academic partnerships, and cross-border collaboration , positioning the university as an active contributor to the global higher education community.
