Faculty Exchange 2026 fosters academic collaboration as delegates visit Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary

Assam down town University hosted distinguished faculty delegates from SRINATH UNIVERSITY, Adityapur, Jamshedpur, as part of the Short-Term Faculty Exchange 2026, organized in association with the Directorate of International Affairs from 22nd to 29th March 2026.

The visiting delegates included Dr. J. Rajesh (Dean, Administration), Dr. Mritunjay Mahato (Head, Commerce and Management), and Mr. Shashi Kant Singh (Head, Computer Technology and Engineering). The exchange program focused on strengthening research, academic, and administrative collaboration between the two institutions, creating opportunities for knowledge sharing and future partnerships.

During their visit, the delegates actively engaged in discussions with faculty members and university officials, exploring avenues for collaborative research, academic development, and institutional cooperation.

Alongside the academic interactions, the delegates were also introduced to the rich cultural and natural heritage of Assam, including a visit to the renowned Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, offering them a glimpse into the region’s biodiversity and cultural landscape.

This faculty exchange initiative reflects the shared commitment of both institutions towards academic excellence, cross-institutional collaboration, and meaningful academic engagement that can contribute to long-term growth and partnership.
