Assam down town University had the privilege of felicitating two of its esteemed faculty members on the occasion of its Foundation Day. 

Mr. Utpal Datta, Professor of Practice, Programme of Performing Arts, was honored in recognition of his achievement of being conferred the prestigious Swarna Kamal (Golden Lotus) Award for Best Film Critic at the 71st National Film Awards for the year 2023. In the same ceremony, Dr. Upala Baruah, Professor of Humanities and Social Sciences, was felicitated for her distinguished and honorary contribution to research.
