Assam down town University is proud to celebrate the achievements of our talented students from the Faculty of Engineering, who brought laurels to the University by securing top positions at the Inter-Engineering College Essay Writing & Poster Making Competition held on Engineers’ Day, organized by JECAA, Golaghat Chapter in collaboration with Golaghat Engineering College. 

The competition, themed “Deep Tech & Engineering Excellence: Driving India’s Techade,” witnessed enthusiastic participation from engineering students across various institutions. Amidst such tough competition, our students showcased exceptional creativity, intellect, and innovation through their insightful essays and visually compelling posters. Jeewan Tamang, a B. Tech. Civil Engineering student (7th Semester, Sec-A), won the 1st Prize in the Essay Writing Competition, while Sanghita Barman, a B.Des. student from the Faculty of Engineering, secured the 2nd Prize in the Poster Making Competition.
