ECCLESIA 3.0 Opens with a Grand Ceremony Emphasizing Research, Startups, and Future-Driven Learning

Assam down town University proudly inaugurated ECCLESIA 3.0 through a dignified and vibrant ceremony that commenced with the Master of Ceremony warmly welcoming all dignitaries, faculty members, students, and guests. 

The event began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the esteemed dignitaries, symbolizing knowledge, wisdom, and new beginnings. The MC introduced the distinguished guests, including the Prof. (Dr.) Narayan Chandra Talukdar, Vice Chancellor of AdtU and Prof Pranveer Singh PhD (IITK) FIE FSED Disruptive Learning Innovator, Pro Vice-Chancellor of Assam down town University, Chief Guest Shri Subhash Chandra Das, IAS (Retd.), Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Assam Skill University, and Guest of Honour Shri Omkarnath Suprabhat Rath, COO – Assam Startup and Founding Member of the MeitY Startup Hub, GoI. 

Dr. Manash J Borah, Chairperson of ECCLESIA 3.0 and Additional Dean (FoE), delivered the welcome address, highlighting the fest’s role in fostering innovation, interdisciplinary learning, and student engagement in emerging technologies. The dignitaries were then felicitated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor in recognition of their contributions to technology, skill development, and entrepreneurship. Addressing the gathering, the Hon’ble Pro Vice Chancellor appreciated the collective efforts behind ECCLESIA 3.0 and reinforced the university’s commitment to research, innovation, and experiential learning, while the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor outlined the university’s vision for academic excellence and encouraged students to leverage the event as a platform for transforming ideas into impactful solutions. The Guest of Honour, Shri Omkarnath Suprabhat Rath, shared insights on the evolving startup landscape and the importance of creativity and resilience, and the Chief Guest, Shri Subhash Chandra Das, IAS (Retd.), delivered a motivating address on skill development, innovation-driven growth, and technology’s role in shaping a progressive society. 

The event concluded with the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor formally declaring ECCLESIA 3.0 open, marking the commencement of all scheduled activities, competitions, and exhibitions.
