The Directorate of Innovation, Startup and Acceleration (DISA), in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) and down town Venture Labs (dtVL) organized an 'Entrepreneur's Talk' for the entrant batch of students from the Faculty of Computer Technology as part of their orientation process on 13th August 2024.

We were honored to have Atreyee Borooah Thekedath, a seasoned entrepreneur, former director of Apollo hospital, Guwahati the founder of software company Web com and current independent director of Agra Smart City limited share her incredible entrepreneurial journey with the students. Ms. Atreyee delved into the various facets of entrepreneurship, offering insights into how to navigate the challenges that come with starting and scaling a business. Her candid reflections on the highs and lows of her journey resonated deeply with the students.

The session was highly interactive, with students eagerly asking questions, to which the speaker provided thoughtful and practical advice. It was a remarkable opportunity for our students to gain firsthand knowledge from someone who has successfully navigated the entrepreneurial landscape
