The Directorate of Innovation, Startup and Acceleration (DISA), Assam down town University organized an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Outreach Programme at Puranbari village for the Atal Tinkering Lab students of St. Vivekananda English Academy, Maligaon. During the visit, the students explored the project site of a Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India funded initiative undertaken by the University to understand the science and technology interventions implemented for the socio-economic development of the village.

The Hon’ble Chancellor of Assam down town University, Dr. N. N. Dutta, interacted with the villagers and the visiting students, sharing his inspiring journey from primary schooling to his present role as Chancellor. The project investigators also provided detailed insights into the objectives, implementation strategies, and impact of the project.
