













Day 2 of Lumos 2025 at Assam down town University was a vibrant blend of intellect, innovation, and entrepreneurial spirit, marked by a series of engaging competitions that brought out the best in participants.
The day began with the much-anticipated Business Quiz, conducted under the expert guidance of Quiz Master Mr. Malay Das. With 22 participating teams, including 10 from institutions outside AdtU, the event showcased sharp business acumen and quick thinking, culminating in IIT Kharagpur emerging as the champion, followed by Gauhati University as the runner-up.
The momentum continued with StockMIND, a stock market simulation competition that tested participants’ financial decision-making and analytical skills under real-time trading scenarios. Judged by Mr. Pranjal Borah, the event challenged students to think strategically and make smart investment choices within a competitive 4-hour window.
Meanwhile, the day’s excitement reached new heights with the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) Tournament, with 24 participating teams competing in a single-elimination format across five competitive rounds, the atmosphere was electric as teams battled fiercely to advance. The Grand Final featured a gripping Best of 3 series between Downtown Boys and Inversion, where both teams showcased extraordinary skill and determination, taking the contest to a nail-biting decider.
The day concluded with the Business Pitch Competition, where budding entrepreneurs took the stage to present innovative business ideas and creative solutions. Evaluated by Dr. Bula Choudhury, Senior Scientist at Guwahati Biotech Park, and Mr. Trailukya Dutta, Founder of Tholua, the event provided participants with valuable insights and constructive feedback. Through their compelling pitches, participants not only showcased their entrepreneurial potential but also reflected the innovative essence that Lumos 2025 stands for.
