Assam down town University successfully hosted the “Corporate Meetup – Delhi Chapter” on 24th May 2025 at Lemon Tree Premier, Gurugram, bringing together a dynamic gathering of over 55 industry professionals and corporate partners for a day of meaningful interaction and strategic dialogue.

The event was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Rimjhim Baruah Borah, Director (i/c), Directorate of Career Advancement, with key participation from university representatives including Mr. Shanawaz Alam (Directorate of Career Advancement), Dr. Samannoy Baruah, and Dr. Nayan Talukdar (Alumni Cell). The active involvement and support of our dedicated alumni played a pivotal role in the success of the event.

The primary objective of the meetup was to strengthen industry-academia collaboration by engaging with corporate stakeholders, understanding emerging trends, and exploring avenues for student placements, internships, and skill development initiatives. Through insightful discussions, the event addressed the alignment of academic curricula with industry expectations, strategies for bridging skill gaps, and the enhancement of student employability through corporate mentoring and experiential learning.

The interactive format of the session enabled participants from diverse sectors to network, share perspectives, and explore long-term partnerships. It provided a valuable platform for the co-creation of career-focused opportunities for students, particularly in the Delhi NCR region.
