The Directorate of Career Advancement, Assam down town University, organised Corporate Meetup – Delhi Chapter 2.0 at Radisson Hotel, Gurugram, Delhi. The meetup brought together corporate leaders and industry professionals for discussions on industry expectations, career opportunities and stronger industry-academia engagement.

The program was organised under the leadership of Dr. Rimjhim Baruah Borah, Director (i/c), Directorate of Career Advancement, with the support of Ms. Varsha Patwari, Assistant General Manager; Mr. Shanawaz A., Deputy Manager; and Mr. Abhinov Rajkhowa, Assistant Manager.

Mr. Joutishman Dutta, Vice President and Managing Trustee, Assam down town University, attended the event and spoke about the importance of sustained engagement between academia and industry. He highlighted the need for continuous industry interaction to help students develop relevant skills and prepare for changing career requirements.
 
The interactive session with corporate representatives focused on emerging industry trends, changing workforce requirements and opportunities for collaboration. The discussions also included suggestions on aligning academic learning with industry needs, particularly in areas such as internships, placements, skill development and research.

The event concluded with the felicitation of the participating corporate leaders, followed by a networking lunch. The interactions provided an opportunity to discuss potential areas of future collaboration and strengthen the University's corporate connect.
