The Directorate of Career Advancement, Assam down town University (AdtU), organised Corporate Meetup – Bengaluru Chapter 2.0 at Radisson Blu Atria, Bengaluru, bringing together corporate leaders, industry professionals and academic stakeholders to strengthen industry–academia engagement.

The meetup focused on emerging industry trends, evolving workforce requirements, career opportunities and industry-relevant skills. Discussions also explored avenues for strengthening internships, placements and long-term corporate collaborations.

Mr. Joutishman Dutta, Vice President and Managing Trustee, Assam down town University, highlighted the importance of sustained industry engagement in helping students understand changing workplace expectations, develop relevant competencies and make informed career choices.

The interactive sessions provided a platform for participating corporate leaders to share industry perspectives and discuss opportunities for deeper collaboration with the University, including internships, placements and industry-aligned academic initiatives

The initiative was spearheaded by Dr. Rimjhim Baruah Borah, Director, Directorate of Career Advancement, with the support of Mr. Abhinov Rajkhowa, Assistant Manager and Mr. Dhanraj Basumatary, Senior Placement Officer.

The event concluded with a felicitation ceremony for the participating corporate leaders, followed by a networking lunch that further strengthened professional connections and opportunities for collaboration.
